Review of A Ghost Story (2017) by Art I — 06 Sep 2017
Enjoy staring at an abandoned wall and watching the pain peel?
This movie is for you. And that is not meant as a joke or metaphor: you will literally watch the paint peel for long stretches of time.
Visually, this is a "Where is Waldo" for simpletons: he is right in front of you.
What really tipped the review toward one-star, however, is the pretentious and confusing way the movie casts about in every direction in a search for profundity (always lacking the human dimension by which we might connect to it, by focusing on the stupid ghost avatar), violating laws of space, time, identity and common sense.
