Review of A Foreign Affair (1948) by Walter M — 05 Feb 2006
[font=Tahoma][Short Thought]: A little-known Billy Wilder comedy... the taste is questionable, and certainly daring for it's proximity to the war, and it's all disappointingly formulaic under it's dark skin... however, the script is funny enough and the actors of such class and charm that they could carry anything. Jean Arthur is sadly overlooked now, but she's absolutely marvellous here.
