Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Jose M — 14 Aug 2009
Very lackluster as a whole, in spite of the praise it was lauded with at the 1989 Academy Awards. It is a comedy that is not particularly inventive or unique, nor very funny for that matter. There are some very strong comedic performances by Michael Palin, who portrayed the stuttering, incomprehensible burglar; as well as Kevin Kline who was just stellar as the complete moron with a knack for weapons, and Friedrich Nietzche.
Worth a watch if you're into dry British humor.
