Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Debbie W — 21 Jun 2011
This film is just about perfect. If it has imperfections I refuse to see them. I really like John Cleese. If I knew John Cleese I would adopt him. I never get tired of the clever plot and witty dialogue of this film.
I love the sub plot which runs through the film. Poor Michael Palin (kkkkkKen) a sworn protector of small mammals, tries to kill an old lady but gets more and more upset as he finds new and interesting ways to squash her dogs.
I must be sick. The doggie funerals make me giggle. If you watch this after watching French Kiss, you will see why Kevin Kline won an academy award for his performance.
