Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Noah T — 16 Dec 2009
This movie is a true classic for comedy and a timeless movie experience so if you have not yet seen it then GO RENT IT. I reveled in being the see all know all viewers in this triangle of seduction, betrayal, love, lust, and humor at its finest.
This is Vintage Jamie Lee Curtis, and Cleese is perfection for his character. A more personable leading role for him when compared to his days in Monty Python (also a classics) makes for nonstop laughter and hilarity as he proceeds to be the victim of seduction from Curtis and non stop pestering from Kline.
Oh did I forget to mention Kevin Kline was in this movie? Well he is and he's superb!!! Younger viewers may get lost but the older and, with all due respect, more savvy crowd, you?re in for a treat.
