Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Matt C — 26 Jun 2010
A Fish Called Wanda is one wildly hilarious and twisty ride. Written by the brilliant John Cleese, the movie is about a group of diamond thieves who all have hidden agreements and ambitions amongst themselves to snatch the diamonds for their own pleasure.
The whole cast does a stellar job, but one performances that really sticks out is Kevin Kline's. The man is truly a scene-stealing treat tasting of sweet hilarity. It's surprisingly smart and very effectively twisty.
And it oozes with golden lines and scenes. You love to laugh so much your stomach hurts? Well then watch this film.
