A conflicted film dealing with the nazi atrocities in the Warsaw ghetto. Using archive propaganda footage with reconstructed scenes and survivors watching old reels can leave the viewer with a sense of disorientation.
In attempting to revise the Nazi account of a specific instance it becomes a little revisionist in itself. Nevertheless, this is a deeply moving and morose documentary about one of the darkest period of recent human history.
