Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Bradysmith — 05 Jun 2014
A conventional but very well executed drama, A Few Good Men doesn't have much mystery in it, but the good performances and assured direction go along way towards making it engaging. The story is pretty solid, but I don't want to spoil it for you.
I'll just say that it does deal with some decently heavy issues. Jack Nicholson gives what is probably the movie's best performance, but Cruise and Moore are both solid here as well. It might not be the most unpredictable movie in the world, but it is a satisfyingly well made crowd pleaser.
