Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Cole M — 15 May 2012
A Few Good Men is one of those movies that's famous for one scene, but this Rob Reiner picture is a whole lot more than a single exchange of iconic dialogue. Tom Cruise is Lt. Daniel Kaffee, a Navy lawyer assigned to defend two marines accused of murder.
Kaffee usually plea bargains his cases, but this time he's led to believe that there's more to the situation than what initially appears. This leads to a web of conspiracy stopping at the feet of Col.
Nathan R. Jessup (Jack Nicholson). This courtroom drama, which contains an excellent cast, is buoyed by exceptional acting and tight pacing.
