Besides the jack Nicholson scene, the script was inauthentic and cheesy and loaded with substandard performances and tremendous overacting. I hated how characters would blow up at each other and then the next scene they were all friends.
I hated how we are led to sympathize with these stupidly emotional defendant marines who really did kill some asshole in the beginning. and I hated how tom cruise looked like he was going to cry in every scene he wasn't being a characteristic clown in.
stop being a douche, tom cruise.
