Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Andy B — 23 Jan 2010
(****) This is yet another movie which influenced me earlier in life and left such a mark that my review may be a bit biased. However, even as I watch today I find few to no flaws, a tight script, and an emotional climax which rivals some of the greatest court dramas of all time. The cast is amazing, with no actor being a weak point (well okay maybe Demi is a corny here and there but come on!). Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and Kevin Bacon are all exceptional in their roles. Another actor who is often overlooked but who plays a vital role in this drama is Kiefer Sutherland as the officer who actually gave the command. He serves as a more bold, unlearned version of the Jessup character played by Nicholson.
In the end I have little to say being as how most people have seen this movie, but if you have not I would strongly recommend it.
