Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Jordan F — 18 Nov 2012
Quick Review:
Excellently written and acted film. The music is a bit much and belongs in a soap opera but the directing could have been worse.
Tom Cruise plays a lawyer who's one of best at getting plea bargains but hardly ever goes to trial, he lives under the shadow of his father who was a great trial lawyre. Demi Moore plays a passionate lawyer who's stuck at a desk job at internal affairs. Nicholson plays the commander of a base at Guantanamo in Cuba which holds the line. Nicholas ordered a "code red" which is a disciplinary action/hazing to make marines fall in line and not turn on their brothers.
It's a good film with some awesome dialoge scenes (of course Aaron Sorkin), some of the scenes are too melodramatic but overall they picked the best actors for this film. The casting director should be commended.
