Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Joe T — 25 May 2013
I love a good court room drama and here we have a great one. Fast paced, snappy dialogue with some great characters... Apart from Demi Moore who I still really do not understand why she was even in it.
An empty, hollow and uninspiring performance that's best left forgotten. Anyway... All is forgiven as Jack Nicholson's authoritative Colonel Jessup appears on the screen and we realise his power, it picks up speed reaching crescendo in the final court room scene.
As Jessup shouts the infamous line "You can't handle the truth!" and the film draws to a close I couldn't believe how long it had been since I watched this fantastic film.
