Review of A Few Days in September (2006) by Private U — 09 Mar 2008
As with any Europudding worth its salt, it's been cast with an eye for funding-friendly names rather than any real credibility. I'm prepared to buy Juliette Binoche as a confectioner of supernatural ability, or as a downtrodden immigrant from the former Eastern Bloc.
But Binoche as a gun-toting fixer and spy tutor, who uses the word "yummy" when it's time for lunch and delights in making animal noises? I think we might have good reason to doubt the intelligence here.
