This movie was unrealistic, having three young teens cross a vast desert with very little food and water and a dog that disappears towards the end of the movie. reese was great as always & ethan embry was adorable; however it seemed that there was more romantic chemistry between ethan's character and the african boy than harry and reese, even though there was a sweet ending to a overly gloomy movie.
