Review of A Fantastic Woman (2017) by Ginak — 12 Mar 2018
A Fantastic Woman is a wonderful film. I sat through most of it simply following the fascinating plot that involves two people in love and what happens when the married one dies suddenly. The deceased’s family would always have had problems accepting the infidelity, but especially in this case because the surviving lover is transgender even though she is a perfectly nice human being and next to impossible to hate.
Daniela Vega is a riveting actress, but the whole cast is very strong. I was so caught up in the film that it wasn’t until the movie was over that I realized how great Vega and the rest of the actors were.
