Raw and simple, A Fantastic Woman is simply very good, Sebastián Lelio treats us to a polished story about struggles that a trans person might endure, it does that subtly on so many layers and so many perspectives from the scope of love and grief.
Daniela Vega who plays Marina is a joy to watch, she effortlessly sways between emotional spectrums with style and grace, the sequences are well thought out and extremely effective in delivering the story,.
Leilo through his film draws a portrait of bravery and fearlessness and it's just amazing to watch.
