Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Matt R — 20 Oct 2009
Outstanding flick. Andy Griffith delivers an entertaining and shockingly harsh performance as a small town guy who becomes an overnight sensation as a TV and Radio guy who becomes more corrupted by money and fame.
Naturally the message is dated to most people with common sense, but sadly some douche bags still have this type of fan worship. Think Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. It all makes sense.
