Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Jack S — 05 Dec 2007
The only reason this film doesn't get five stars is because of Elia "I'm a worthless scumbag" Kazan. Andy Griffith is incredible. The movie is on point and timeless. See it. It's kinda like "Walk The Line" if "Walk the Line" was good. Like imagine if "Walk the Line" was good mixed with "Bob Roberts".
For a companion piece read "Spider Kiss" by Harlan Ellison.
