The trailer is to totally misleading. This movie has so many unnecessary dark themes. Even the reason why the dog gets separated from her owner is misleading. It's packaged as a family movie. Yet there's a scene where a dying homeless man forces the dog to stay with him and chains the dog to him.
Then kids find the dog chained to a lifeless body. Took three kids ages 15, 11, and 6 to see it. They were disappointed. Save your money. A Dog's Purpose was much better than this.
