Review of A Dog's Purpose (2017) by Tracey C — 28 Jan 2017
For all the negative reviews, you clearly didn't read the book! I read the book and saw the movie. It's not intended to portray the responsibilities of raising a dog or anything like that. The movie was portrayed perfectly to the book, which is about a life cycle of a dog and his different lives and how he (or her) touched peoples' lives and how these lives affected him.
It's a heart-felt movie- not just for kids - teaching life lessons! I'm aware of the controversy with PETA and I am a HUGE dog lover, having 2 large dogs myself, but whether or not that incident is true or embellished, clearly these dogs worked hard on this set and I feel like we owe it to the dogs to watch THEIR movie.
The movie was awesome!! Put your political judgments aside for a minute and enjoy this good heartfelt movie and maybe even learn something in the meantime.
