Review of A Dog's Purpose (2017) by Matt C — 08 Feb 2017
Saw it with my boys and girls. And I know all their friends have seen it and loved it. It's sugary, but sugar is good every now and then, especially in such sour times. There is something comforting and true about the simple bond humans feel with our dogs. Gad's performance captured the innocence, fun, and ultimately, wisdom inherent in canines. Quaid's subtle, human portrayal still had me cheering when he is finally able to open his heart once again.
