This is a heartwarming story. There were actually many moments where they brought attention to bad pet owners who leave their animals in hot cars or leave them chained in the yard for days or weeks. In some of the dog's lives he was rescued from an animal shelter.

There was much more to show positive animal care and the important bond between man and dog than in the edited footage that I have seen of the water stunt.
