I read the book months before I watched the movie and even though I (almost) never complain about an adaptation, I was so disappointed in this book turned movie. The book made me laugh out loud so often and I just loved the whole plot, things I can't say about the movie.
I don't get it why the movie makers felt the need to change it completely, basically leaving out all the good parts and adding so many unnecessary scenes... Huge disappointment. Maybe if I hadn't read the book first, I might have enjoyed it.
That;s why I'm giving it 2,5 stars.
