A Dog's Purpose is a heartwarming story for every dog lover out there. The movie is well written and captures the heart of the novel it's adapted from in a fantastic way for audiences to connect and enjoy.
The cast is also great; the dogs were adorable and their human costars did a great job. It's easy to see why the reviews weren't so great but all flaws aside, there's a lot to like about it.
