Review of A Dog's Purpose (2017) by Archie G — 17 Jan 2018

This film has literally no idea what it's going for. It has a dog narrating the movie in a whimsical child-like way yet features an abusive alcoholic father, several instances of animal abuse, and several dog deaths including euthanasia, shooting, and being killed a the pound.

Also a guy who meets a random dog and immediately goes "well I bet that's my old dog reincarnated look at him chase his tail." Also the first 20 minutes crawls along at a snail's pace.

The rest is watchable if a little bizarre.
