Review of A Dog's Purpose (2017) by Jabba H — 28 Jan 2017
If you love and care about dogs - see this movie. During the movie my daughter who is 16 and myself teared up about 5 times and we smiled often at several funny moments - especially when he finally finds the cat.
I have to admit I did not want to see this movie - I read a review that said it was like Looks Who's Talking - a movie I did not like and between that and the news bites about dog abuse - I decided it was not worth seeing.
In addition this is not the type of movie I usually go to. But my daughter wanted to see it - so I went. The star of the movie is not any one actor or any one dog bread but the Conscience, Mind, Soul and most importantly the VOICE of a one dog.
5 stars you say - well it's not Star Wars, it's not Godfather part II, Gone with the Wind or any other Significant Hollywood Movie - it's a 5 STAR DOG MOVIE. If you liked Hachi: A Dog's Tale - you will like A Dog's Purpose.
If you are part of PETA you should be doing your best to get everyone to see this movie. There is one part of the movie that shows the most common animal cruelty done time and time again in our society - a dog that is not loved - happily our hero gets taken away and finds his way to a happy home and we discover A Dog's Purpose.
So if you or you have someone in your life who loves dogs - take them to see this movie, you will not be disappointed.
