Review of A Dog's Purpose (2017) by Robby C — 25 Feb 2017

I saw a Dog's Purpose and I thought it was a very accomplished film. Effortlessly weaving together themes like resurrection, purpose, service, animal consciousness, Cold War American uneasiness, alcoholism, and, of course, love, the film succeeds where other Oscar hopefuls fail because of the lovable protagonist dog-consciousness (named Bailey, Buddy, and Boss Dog at various times in its spiritual progression / eternal resurrection cycle).

I thought this lovable dog-consciousness and his friends like Horse Dog were very appealing, wholesome characters and we need more of them in cinema and indeed in life. 2 Paws Way Up!
