Review of A Day Off (1968) by Sue T — 03 Oct 2007
Just so much fun. A satisfying yarn about kicking off that yoke of societal and familial expectation, yelling wahoo and somersaulting over the couch.
Hepburn with her usual feisty aplomb and Grant - so bewildered and charming - get to revel in the witty dialogue - and there's a great turn by the two actors who play Grant's touchstone (EE Horton and Jean Dixon). I stalk Turner Classics for this one.
