Review of A Day Off (1968) by Ashley G — 07 Mar 2010
To me, this film is much better than The Philadelphia Story and Bringing Up Baby. It isn't a screwball comedy, it's a romantic comedy, with a great message. Normally I don't like movies with a message, but Johnny's idea of finding purpose rather than money in life is truly inspiring.
A little-seen classic for everyone. Oh, and Cary Grant is absolutely fantastic (as usual).
