Review of A Day Off (1968) by Samuel B — 21 Jan 2012
A classic for sure, Cary Grant plays an ordinary guy who has fallen in love with a very wealthy girl. In the process of meeting the family he finds himself being shaken down by the father as to whether he is worthy of his daughter and of course the suspicion that comes when one courts outside of their caste.
He also happens to fall in love with the other sister in the process (Hepburn).
