Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Jeremy H — 23 Mar 2012
While Fassbender and Mortensen shine as Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud, Keira Knightley literally destroys any hope this film has of being believable with her absolutely awful, transparent and unforgivable performance.
Can one single actor or actress ruin an entire film? A Dangerous Method goes on to prove that the answer is yes. The film also ends before the story begins to get interesting. Cronenberg needs to go back to what he does best.
Trying to make David Lynch films.
