Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Andrew W — 27 Oct 2012
Not the usual Cronenberg fare, this is a historic piece well acted by Fassbender, Mortensen and Knightley. The latter in particular delivers an excellent performance balancing hysterics with recovery to sanity.
The early days of psychoanalysis are described in the triangle between these three protagonists and provide a satisfying tale. well paced, sometimes humorous and visually satisfying.
