Engrossing and totally fascinating leave it to Cronenberg to turn in a film about human relationships, sexual unrest and experimentation in very conservative times. This film analyzes the dual nature of humanity, intellect and social morae's being stripped away by animal desires.
The cast is excellent and the film looks like a painting by Renoir or Monet.
