Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Steve H — 09 Jul 2013
You've got a Logos-Eros-Zeus thing going on here. Cronenberg has a good handle on his Jung and Restless theme, frittering ever-so-seriously with cerebral combat between gnostic Jung and patriarchal Freud while raving clitoral cyclone Knightly fillets their corpus collosums every witch way.
Impeccable period-drenched production, strong performances all around, and sex scenes so laden with Greco-mythic significance they're a hot screech.
