Review of A Cure for Wellness (2017) by Matt R — 21 Feb 2017

A visually gorgeous horror film; every shot is immaculate, the direction superb. The storytelling is where the problems lie. Far too much is crammed in, making the film at least half an hour too long. This extension allows the viewer to figure out the big twists miles ahead of their reveal, robbing this mystery's climax of a satisfying payoff.

See it for the visuals; don't expect to be wowed by anything else.
