An unsubtle and unnecessary re-tread of Hammer Horror territory with money instead of charm. The most surprising and shocking thing that happens comes during the end credits when you realise it was directed by one of the most bankable directors of the 21st century and not, as you would no doubt assume, by someone who was making music videos and commercials a few months ago.
