A Cure For Wellness is a bit difficult to write about. On one hand: its visuals are captivating (from gorgeous cinematography to haunting imagery), the performances are solid, and the narrative is ambitious.

It had me hooked with intrigue for most of the runtime. BUT, on the other: the plot derailed in the last 15 minutes, it could've been much more compact (I checked my phone on multiple occasions to see what time it was, which is rare), and the underlying message of curing the sickness of success or "wellness" came off as a binary critique that just didn't land.
