Deeply atmospheric, haunting music, and a twisty story telling make 'A Cure For Wellness' make for a chillingly suspenseful movie night.

Get your popcorn ready, because this psychological thriller keeps you buckled in for 2 and a half hours.

The story:

A career obsessed young professional on Wallstreet gets sent on a mission to bring the companies CEO back from a wellness center in the Swiss Alps to help navigate a merger. And what he finds once he gets there will keep you puzzling long after the credits roll.

This is a stunningly beautiful movie, I especially liked the shots of the train in the beginning, and the white robes towards the end. And we also get a car ride thru the mountains that reminded me of The Shining. The first hour or so is filled with a chilling soundtrack, which I recalled faded during the second half of the film in favor of more of a horror vibe. Similar to 'Shutter Island', but I need to revisit that one.

The secrets uncovered are twistingly supernatural, and I dare not spoil them for you.

All that on top of some terrifying scenes of being helplessly trapped mysterious medical center filled with some seriously slithery clientele under the surface.

Any film that makes me this excited to write a review has to get a perfect score. And what is with that smile at the end?? Is there something we are not seeing......

If you like a psychological thrillers, than make sure you move this to the top of your to watch list!
