Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Gigi D — 15 Jun 2007

I can't believe this film has been given such good reviews by other people here on Flixster. I thought it never really got into it's stride, and instead was just a long string of demonstrations of Steve Coogan's egomaniac personality.

And didn't we already know about that? There was a trite attempt at a moralistic strain towards the end of the film, and despite what any other ignorant reviewers have said - this film is definately not better than the book it is supposedly based on! Sterne's novel is a landmark in the Literary history of our country.

Coogan's film is - a mishmash.
