Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Martha M — 30 Jul 2007
Probably a better idea than a film, this somehow mixes fake filmmaking and a fake film so that there's not enough or too much of both. I find the Tristram Shandy stuff highly amusing, and the performances are great, but I've seen all this On Set Drama stuff done before.
Presumably true to the spirit of the book, this will baffle some and amuse many, but it's difficult to legitimately rate highly. Perhaps it's just a little too self-conscious to really work.
