Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Matt F — 21 Sep 2010
"Post-modernism before there was any modernism to be post about".
Winterbottom and Coogan's colab's are always solid, and this one was especially clever. The use of Micheal Nyman's music from Peter Greenaway's early films in the "Tristram Shandy" parts was especially funny now that Ive seen Greenaway's movies, and the signal of the shift into the film within the film from Nina Rota's "8 1/2" score was brilliant.
"I didn't know he was so small".
