Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story was endlessly clever and never descended to cheap laughs like most comedies this year. Although it was difficult at times to catch many of the British in jokes and also had a confusing format I still found it genuinely funny, and in the words of Steve Coogan, "that is enough.".
