Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Richard H — 10 Oct 2006
A bit of a dissapointment. the first scene where Rob Brydon is talking about his teeth to Steve Coogan is one of the funniest scenes in the movie. which is unfortunate considering the talent on offer here.
it's a bit too inconsistant too, and the scenes where Steve Coogan is trying to make himself a name as a serious actor are the best, a shame that there aren't many of these. Rob and Steve have a great on-screen partnership though, which is always a joy to see.
it's a shame that all the great ideas and jokes are used up in the first half, so you're left with a film that falls a little flat.
