Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Jane K — 13 Nov 2012
Contrary to being an "orwellian warning," as put by roger ebert, this film seems more like its trying to show the burden of free will by giving two extremes in one character (Alex) and contrasting intrinsic individual desire with the desires of society who will have Alex obviously not go around raping and murdering.
Also the bit at the end where the writer is imprisoned for exacting the revenge he well deserved is a great satire on how ironic and pathetic modern justice has become.
