Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Freddie B — 15 Mar 2013
A great film, so brilliantly directed, the viewer is literally taken along for the ride, as Alex stares at you to say "viddy well little brother, viddy well" before committing a most terrible crime.
The sets and visuals are Kubrick all over with Malcolm McDowell's greatest performance. The film is not as violent as you'd expect knowing its history, it's basically like shakespeare on acid.
Amazingly artistic, my favourite film ever.
