Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Jenn B — 20 Jan 2014
One of the few films in which the heaviness in violence and sex is justified. The two play so big in the narrative, as the film digs deep as to what must be done to people who disturbingly love violence, and whether such solution is really the answer or it just introduces another problem.
The film is only up to chapter 20 of the book, so it's highly suggested to read the last chapter (21), which is really how the story ended (even though the film looked as though it's a finished story.
