Ultraviolence, Beethoven, and a splash of social commentary, A Clockwork Orange is quite the controversial film. The film is directed at exactly the level to expect from Kubrick, with excellent sound design, acting, and cinematography.
The film's got a lot to say, and has very mixed ways to say it. Undefinable by genre, A Clockwork Orange is a goddamned masterpiece, a chaotic and sadistic masterpiece. 5/5.
