Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Gunpowder B — 07 Dec 2014
Unredeemably evil characters and a classical, epic score (which weaves the only humanity into the film) both bolster another mad installment of Kubrick's dystopian futurism. The trippy designs and Cockney-Russific fictional language have standalone intrigue, and build a culture which is both terrifying and peculiar.
