Crazy, as, fuck. Thats all you need for a review of this film. Really nice score, good compositions, and weird as hell cinematography, things used to make the viewer uncomfortable, besides all the things the slightly less than charming anti-hero alex does to make us inherently uncomfortable.

Based on the book of the same name by the great Anthony Burgess, its a dystopian film, where youngins are all about causing havoc in the future. one must realize that the movie a clockwork orange, is based on the american release of the book, which ends two chapters before the british release, which also means the movie ends pre emptively as well, the 'all is well in the world of alex' ending (though uneasily sort of satisfying) is a false ending, which Anthony burgess complained, because alex seems to develop in no way, and too some, thats confusing, and a bummer. All in all not for everybody, but it's to be appreciated. especially for the great shakespearean esque style combo of the russian/english slang dialect and the beautiful acting of malcom mcdowell, along with the great stanley kubrick behind the camera, one can find it very enjoyable, if not a little scarring.
